ENSLAVED: ODYSSEY TO THE WESTA research paper done over the the thematic narrative elements of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and its contributions to both literary and video game design. The paper touches on subjects such as the game's comparison to the original Chinese novel Journey to the West, the concepts that underlay a player's "mission" built into the game versus the player's actual motivation to continue, and the overall application of the genre of science fiction.

This project sought to create a program that was the result of collaboration between a for-profit (Chik-fil-a) and a non-profit (North Texas Food Bank) organization. The program worked to educate children in trying new foods and be more cognizant of proper nutrition while simultaneously teaching parents and other adults how to shop more cost efficiently and how to cook in ways that were different, delicious, and inexpensive.

MOTIVATION THEORIESOriginally done as a class presentation, this slide show presents various motivation theories and their applications to the non-profit economic sector. Motivation theory in both individual and group settings are a vast part of my concentration (Organizational Behavior), and thus I enjoyed being able to depict such concepts to a group and discuss ideas in an open format.

Night of the Living DeadAn analysis of Night of the Living Dead (1968) and its depiction of the political era. The analysis is, of course, up for debate, but this is one look at the film and its thematic choices.
